1968: First stamped Mil Spec Micro Contact developed. 1968: First Single and Dual Row Micro Strip designed. 1969: Omnetics, Inc. is created |

1984: Omnetics Connector Corporation is established acting as the successor to Omnetics, Inc. 1987: First Micro Strip connector with latch is designed. 1988: First Nano contact and Nano Strip connector is designed. 1989: First ever Polarized Nano Strip connector designed using hermaphroditic design elements. |

Early 2000’s |
2001: Omnetics BiLobe™ connector is born. Later QPL’d per MIL-DTL-32139. 2007: First ever tool-free latching Nano-D designed and sold. 2009: Nano circular connector designed and sold. 2010: Omnetics released their QPL Micro-D per MIL-DTL-83513. 2010: Omnetics releases the first ever tool-free latching Micro-D 2012: Omnetics releases its IP68 Micro and Nano circular series ref: Micro360/Nano360. 2018: Omnetics designs Nano coax Series |

2022: After 35 years, Omnetics relocates to a new state-of-the-art manufacturing and design headquarters. 2022: Omnetics certified per IPC-620- Space Addendum. |
